Hi,

My wife is freaking out and I'm getting concern as well. She had her interview on the 9th of December and got approved. When she got home there was a letter from the embassy stating that her physical was incomplete and that she needed to call the dr. and get the missing paperwork in before her Visa could continue getting processed. Apparently the Dr. misplaced the papers or lost them (Who knows) anyways, she took the requested papers to the Dr. the next day and was told the embassy would get them the following day. It is going on two week and she still hasn't received the Visa.

We emailed the embassy but haven't received a response, she tried calling but apparently an answering machine came on saying there is no more phone support for IV??? and needs to send an email instead? Is there a number I could call to try to find out what is going on?

We don't even know if they did in fact received the papers since we can't get a hold of anyone. We were planning on moving ending of next month. Do you think she'll get it before then? Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and how long it took you or what you did.

Thanks, everyone~

Merry Christmas too~

Give it till Friday, but just keep emailing. They won't tell you anything for some reason, unless there is some secret number I didn't know about. took them 14 business days to approve my husband's visa after giving them what they needed. Seems to be about the current average. sometimes a little more.

Hope you hear something soon! Just a reminder that you'll get an automatated response from the Consulate and they won't reply personally for about 5 days. Always put your case number on the subject line. It probably wouldn't hurt to put "urgent" on the subject line as well.
