Hi all,

I'm preparing to send off my I751. Here are the documents checklist :

Joint bank statement

loan payments showing both our names

Joint credit cards wich have both of our name

Utility bills on my name

my husbands cell phone bill wich has same address as mine

Sworn affidavits from our friends and car insurance agent

Do you guys think if these are enough? We filled our taxes separate so i dont know if we need to send it. Also my USC husband filled for my daughter and she got approved and came here in the states about a month ago. Do we need to send anything about my husband sponsoring my daughter? Please advice thank you very much

I would include tax transcripts as well even though you filed separately - it would show your status as 'married, filing separately' and both of you living at the same address - that is further evidence as well. I would also include multiples of items - not just a joint bank statement but a series of joint bank statements that goes back to when you got the AOS and includes as close to the filing date as possible - for example, 4 statements for each year. Do the same for the utility bills paid by each of you, the cell phone bills and the credit card statements. They want to see evidence that covers the whole marriage. What about a lease or a mortgage? What about Driver Licenses or State IDs showing both of you at the same address. What about car registration - is it in both names? Don't forget to include both sides of your green card as well. Good luck.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
