administrative review

Hey guy! im just kinda confused,.. if the case is under administrative review , is there any posibilities that my application for the visa will be denied?

There is always the possibility that your case will be denied and that's on a case to case basis. But in the Philippine scenario, cases are usually put under administrative review if the the CO has not yet made a final decision on the case or is still waiting for additional documentary requirements. In my case, I was put under under administrative review for two and a half months when my civil records were finally verified to be as authentic.

Did they keep you're passport?? If so that is a good sign. Did they ask for additional documents?

We were told wiat till you hear from us. No slip at all, pink, or white. After two months and seventeen days we got the visa. They are probably checking documents {D.V.}....

YES, TWO MONTHS IS A LONG TIME, WHEN IT IS UNEXPECTED!! YOU SHOULD GATHER THE REQUIRED DOCS. AND GET THEM THERE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. MAYBE EVEN HAVE THE PETITIONER CONTACT THE EMBASSY, ASK IF THE DOCS. CAN BE DELIVERED IN PERSON.

HOPE THAT ALL MOVES QUICKLY FOR YOU !!!

Hello, I've attached the MNL-IV-22 (white slip) along with the blue and form letter my wife, amorsiempre, received after the interview (principal applicant name has been removed).

We're hoping that after she submits the additional documents, they will approve the visas. It is a little hard to read the comments from the CO, but it looks like they want the marriage index (CENMAR, thanks to VJs who explained this), marriage contract and valid passports. I'm not sure why they returned the passports after the interview and now are requesting those again.

Please let us know if we are right about what is being requested by the embassy and the timeframe we should expect if they are satisfied with the additional documents.

Hi, I was under AR too and I waited for 3 and half months for my husband to re-establish his residence and then passed the docs and after two weeks I got my visa. So be patient, it helps a lot. Sacrifices will be worth and prayer helps a lot too. Goodluck!
