POE Advice

Im flying out to see my loved one next week for the whole 90 days that my waiver allows me. Flying into JFK. Any advice on handling the questions at POE? I have noticed the general rule of not giving up anything you dont get directly asked.

Definitely have a letter from your employer stating they expect you to return to your job on such & such date. A copy of mortgage papers, utility bills and anything you can think of that prove you plan to return will be helpful. You'll need to prove your ties to your home country if they ask.

And yea, just answer their questions and be honest. You should have no problem then.

When you are at the POE just smile and hand in passport to the officer, at JFK they are usually nice, they even make jokes!. So just smile and only anwer what he asks briefly, say you come to visit friends and that you have a special friend waiting for you!

Thanks! I hadnt really thought about it until today. I started reading a couple of horrors stories and started freaking out. Im sure all will be sunshine and happines.
