EAD & GC

Hello, everybody!

So it looks like i will not get my EAD any sooner than GC.

I'm getting close to the 60 day mark since they received my RFE response, and even better today is 3 months eversince i filed for AOS( ).

Anyway, my question was- once i have my GC will i have to renew my EAD separately later, or the GC itself is a document that prooves that i'm legaly allowed to work?

And once again, i'm really frustrated with the timing. This s***t is ridiculous. Has anybody else got the same problem?

EAD/AP is worthless once GC is approved....

Your GC enables you to work and travel so you no longer need to worry about the other two. Just make sure the info on the GC is correct; I found mistakes on mine, so it's been useful to have the EAD as a fallback while I wait for the corrected GC to arrive!
