5/25/08......Received notification of scheduled appointment at local

ASC for Biometrics

The PETITIONER was brought in for biometrics after NOA1 after this the case went cold. Has anyone else been fingerprinted who PETITIONED the K-!. What about the idea of canceling this petition and submitting a new one for the same person. This person has inquired about where it is and NO one can give an answer. This person is still NOA 1 for almost a year now.

Withdrawing and filing a new petition won't help. I've not heard of this before but it sounds like there was a hit on the name, probably even the name was on a high priority "wanted" list. At this stage of the game, there are lots of people with petitions in the system a year or more waiting for NOA2, so the timeline is not particularly unusual.

The petitioner can also be brought in for biometrics if there was an AWA hit.
