Hubby's likes to write letters/gifts to send home. We spend a little extra on phone cards to make long calls, and we incorporate traditional foods in our celebrations.

for me, im still adjusting and sometimes very emotional :crying:

for me, im still adjusting and sometimes very emotional :crying:

The adjustment takes time. You're not alone Inday Fatima. I don't think I would survive living here if not for Ryan's love and care. There are times I feel so down and miss home just like today. I had a weird feeling today and cried myself to sleep. My husband called me three times from work and missed all of his calls because I was in the bedroom taking a nap. I called him back when I woke up. I think he knew I was not feeling well (emotionally). The words that came out from his mouth were all reassurances. One of the most exciting one was that, he's going to make me a seafood pasta for dinner tonight, huh :luv: Well, I am waiting for his homecoming with a big hug ready for me.

I told him that I (we) need to go out from the house every weekend. I've been here for few months now and the place still feels so strange. I have a friend whose been here for 11 years now. She told me that she still feels homesickness and thought that it will always be there in her heart.

Moabot ra gyud tingali ang time nga maanad ra ta.
