Hey Guys my wife had interview on the 8th, everything went smooth. And just received her visa today. So great timing by embassy.

I'll see her on Wednesday. :dance:

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

I'll see her @ JFK Wed Her plane lands at 2:15pm, do you guys know how long it'll take her to clear everything?

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

It really depends on how many international flights are coming through JFK at the same time as hers. It could be less than an hour, or several hours. Best to just be there when her flight lands and wait patiently. The help kiosks might have information for you, and there might be a telephone number for JFK that you can call and get an idea of what their peak international times are.

Congrats!

My wife went through JFK and had little delay, if any. She said they inspected her documents while they asked her a few questions, and then they helped her find her way to the next terminal. All in all, her experience at JFK was good. And short!

We went through Atlanta and it also took 3.5 hours. My step daughter went through Atlanta 2 months after us an got through in 20 minutes.

A lot of planes must have landed around the same time ours did, because the line to get through customs was huge. After waiting in that line, they directed us downstairs to actually be processed, where there were 3 lines of IOs, only one of which was processing visas of our type. Although there was only 1 file in front of ours, it still took at least an hour before they called us. No idea why, but I'd like to think it was atypical.

Hey guys, we are back, in all it took about an hour + in customs plus luggage, we are so freaking happy, a little traffic back and we are home :)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
