I've been interviewed twice. The first time, I was given a white slip stating that I didn't produce enough documentation/ evidence, and so the case has to go through 'Administrative Process'. 8 months later,I went for another interview.'The Second time, I wasn't even asked a question, the lady just read the case file, and the gave me a 'green slip' which contained the same info as the first one, about the case going to 'Administrative Process' again. She wouldn't even look at the additional evidences that I brought along.

Please I would like to know what the 'green slip' means, if there's any meaning to the slips. It's been over 10 months since that second interview and I still haven't heard from the Consulate. My wife and I are so frustrated by this and are at our wits' end.Can anybody help?

Thank You

The color of the paper does not necessarily mean something. They differ from embassy to embassy and day by day (sometimes it seems they run out of a paper color). If I were you, I would contact my senator to see what they say. Also you should call the department of state and speak with a "visa specialist." Their phone number is 202-663-1225 then press 1 then 0. You may need a lawyer to help you. There is also an AP forum on VJ. I recommend you post there as there are people going through the same issues,

I think it is most important to see what the "green slip" states.

If it is denial, you want to get a lawyer involved right away. Interview them carefully, because some lawyers are not as experience as others with denials. Maybe even chose one that has been through your embassy. References?

You do not want your petition sent back to DOS.

Hope this helped a bit.
