I-130 question

Hi,

I've been reading the guides on this site to help me assemble my application (http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?autocom=custom&page=i130guide2).

For the I-130 it states:

A copy of the intending immigrant's birth certificate and/or passport along with English translation.

However I've been reading the I-130 instructions document and nowhere in it states that it asks for this, is this a mistake or did I just overlook it?

True, not requested by form I-130, VJ guides are there to provide guidance, they are not strict interpretations of the instructions.

Since you posted this to the AOS fourm I will assume you are doing I-485+I-130, the I-485 does require copy of foreign BC, and copy of Passport BIO page, and Visa stamp.

Thanks, I was confused and wasn't sure if I had overlooked it somehow. Just including that stuff in the I-485 is alright then?
