Part 6. Sponsor's income and employment.

c. If you are currently married, enter "1" for your spouse

Here is the question. I am married and my wife is the beneficiary.

I already included her on line 10 and 21(a) and line 21 says DO NOT COUNT ANYONE TWICE.

Do I have to include her again ion line 21 ©.

Timeline

Count WIFE as IMMIGRANT ONLY, NOT SPOUSE. She is the immigrant that you are sponsoring.

The Spouse line is for other situations where you may be sponsoring another immigrant like parent, sibling, child, etc... OTHER than WIFE.

Also USE form I-864EZ if you are sponsoring 1 immigrant, NOT using a joint sponsor, and NOT using any assets.

hi, we are planning to submit I-864EZ as well,, did you submit 3 years of tax return?? or just the recent year..

When we adjusted status we used I-864EZ, and attached 3 years of Simple IRS Transcripts, letter from employer and copies of recent pay stubs.
