I need to send my wife a credit card in her name. It will be unactivated until I know she has received it but it's very very important that she does get it. I have sent documents by US postal service international express but I don't trust sending a credit card that way.

DHL, FedEx, and UPS offer shipping at around $75. Does anyone have experiences using these services? Any failures?

FedEx works best for me. And you can track it. The package never leaves FedEx' hands - from sender to destination.

when we were still on the K1 process back then, my hubby used fed-ex every time he sends an important docs/papers/gifts. took them 4 days to deliver and our experienced were great so i hope to you too... he tried sending something thru postal service and i never got it until now :angry: ... they say postal is ok for as long as u register the mail but i would still suggest using the private curriers... good luck!!!

I wouldn't trust DHL. It is in the process of reorganization and has discontinued its domestic air and ground operations in the United States. In other words, it could be in the brink of bankruptcy ...

I use USPS Global Express . I put a bunch of items like boxes of bandaids and medicine in their small Global Express box and stick the ATM card inside a bandaid box. Worked one time a couple years ago.. Just going to try again.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Thanks everyone. I just sent the envelope by FedEx. Seems to have the most votes here and in another thread. Besides, they were closest, lol.

Ended up costing $53 'coz it was under half a lb and fit into their standard envelope and is supposed to be there in Baguio Friday.

That's about twice what USPS International Express is but I think I have more peace of mind.

I was also worried about someone scanning the magnetic strip information so I put the card between two sheets of heavy duty aluminum foil. I don't know if that will help but at least I tried.

it should be fine. ive got 2 visa (debit) thru fed-ex before and both of them worked perfectly

My husband sent me my credit card through fedex when I was in the Philippines, it was with the papers that I needed to prove his domicile. It came also with Philippine money that was left from his travel. I didn't have any problem with it. So, don't worry, it will be in your wife hands soon.
