Hello,

I know this is a VERY common question, but after searching for a while, I never really found an exact answer. My wife, non USC, and I, USC are moving soon and since my wife's AOS is pending, we need to change our address. What forms do we need to submit? Is it a different form for her and me or what? Do I have to file a different change of address for her I485(GC), I765(EAD) and I131(AP)?

For non-USC: AR-11

For USC/Sponsor: I-865

Most folks change their address both on the USCIS web site and submit the forms mentioned.

Excellent thank you. So I can do my wife's, non USC, address change online and then just call the USCIS and tell them that a change of address has been submitted? For my, USC, address change I have to mail in form I-865? Last thing, does my wife have to submit/ do the AR-11 online for all three of her cases?

Looking at the AR-11 online, there is no section for receipt number. This makes me assume that if my wife fills this out, it will change the address for all her pending petions. Anyone have experience here?

This is the part on the website that confuses me:

2. Non-U.S. Citizens

If you have moved, you need to follow two different steps:

Step 1: File a Form AR-11 (This changes your address in our master database.);

Step 2: If you have a pending case, you must also file a Change of Address online or call our National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283. (This changes your address for the specific application you have submitted.)

Please note that if you are a non-U.S. citizen and you have a pending case, you must complete both steps to make sure that you comply with the regulations and so we can reach you at your correct address.

So does that mean we have to send in the AR-11 AND do the change of address online?

Okay, so I think I have it

For me, USC, I have to send in form I-865

For my wife, non USC, we need to do two things.

1) Send in form AR-11 to the department of homeland Security

2) Change her address online at USCIS.gov, so that USCIS knows the new mailing address.

Looking at the AR-11 online, there is no section for receipt number. This makes me assume that if my wife fills this out, it will change the address for all her pending petions. Anyone have experience here?

Yes you're right - just one AR-11. OP, call the number on the website. They will do all 3 pending applications then and there (if you have AOS, EAD, AP). Then submit your AR-11 physically and mail your USC spouses address form as well.

i-710 Process

02/23/2011 - Mailed off i-751 to California

02/25/2011 - NOA1
