I-134 Notarized signatures

My mother is the co-sponsor for my fiance's K-1:

She is including tax returns as well as other documents (bank statements, W-2s, trust fund promissory notes, employee letters) with the I-134

The tax returns are filed jointly since both my parents are married

Will my father have to sign the I-134 also if ONLY my mother is the co-sponsor?

Assuming your mother is using her own income to qualify, she signs. If it's Dad's income being used, he signs but not both. You have one co-sponsor who qualfies on their own.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

Yes, my mother is using just her own income to qualify. She is the co-sponsor, so I now understand that her notarized signature will be the only one needed on the I-134, not my father's signature, although the taxes are filed jointly.
