hide the chocolates and tell her if she's good the whole times she's there then she can have one. Or do what my mom did for grandpa, lace all the drinks with a small amount of whiskey. Just enough to make them sleepy.

it is not that she is a bad person.. she just has a way about her.... kind of like things have to be her way or no way.... but she is very subtle about it all
