2 NVC Letters Received

Hi guys.... I just need your opinion or if anyone has experienced this.

We received 2 NVC letter 1 dated the 20th and 1 the 24th, both said that they received our approved k1 petition and that they will be forwarding our case to the proper consulate within a week.

What would trigger 2 notices being sent out?

The same thing happened to me. I received two letters that were identical except for the dates. I don't what the reason was, but I wasn't concerned and it wasn't a problem.

How soon after you recd those notices that they actually sent out your packet to the embassy. Was it within the 1 week they stated. They recd ours since the 18th but havent actually sent it to the Manila Embassy.

The letters from NVC were dated 8/21 and 8/22. The Packet 3 letter was dated 9/9, but we didn't receive it until the 15th. So, give them a couple weeks and you should receive your Packet 3.

I wonder if it was due to us calling to inquire on the case.
