I want to know if my fiancee could come and visit me for two weeks during the xmas holidays. My NOA2 still hasnt come in yet :crying: but he is just wondering if he came would he get paperwork for his interview while he is here he just wants to come dec 24 until jan 9. Since the noa2 hasnt come yet and im overdue from my timeline just want to see if it would interfere. Any suggestions. Thank you

the first thing he will receive is packet 3 which will check he has the required documentation for the interview, ask him to return some forms and contains information about scheduling a medical appointment. the interview will be scheduled once they have received the forms and processed them.

it took a month for me to receive packet 3 after we received our noa2. i'm sure a short trip over the holidays won't disrupt anything.

Just worried since it was close to the date he may recieve his packet 3.

Make sure he brings some proof of ties to his country for the POE just in case. They can refuse him entry and you don't want that to happen. I took a letter from my employer saying "scheduled leave from work", copy of my mortgages, car payment etc. He may not need to show any but good to bring with him. GOOD LUCK and enjoy the holidays.

Okay thank you very much I'll tell him that he was going to tell him that he was coming for a visit but planned on going back to see his son. But ill have him bring something just in case. He wont lie to them he will tell them the truth.
