I'm going to be spending two weeks at Christmas in mainland NS, Cape Breton, and NB. The biggest excitement will be meeting our new nephew for the first time! :)

Staying in Georgia this year - our second actually on our own without going to one set of parents' or the other. Not sure what we will do for the day, actually:-).

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Christmas isn't a huge deal for my family so I don't feel a need to go home for it.

My mom and sister are coming down for Mardi Gras. That makes me happy.

I love New Orleans! Was just there for 6 days at the end of July. Heck I would even go there for Christmas.

I'll be spending Christmas here, just outside of Ottawa. Because I'm a church organist, there's no way for me to get away for the holiday itself. (And given that it's my last Christmas here for a while, it is nice to share it with my family.)

But on Dec. 29th, I'll be flying south to visit my Ladybug.

I'm not... I could I guess but I am not ready to spend a Christmas away from my hubby yet :(....

there is a very slight possibility that some of my family might be coming down here for Christmas... my dad is currently trying to talk my mom into coming, she is worried about the expense of it, like she usually is :P... also my brother and his wife and child might be coming too... I really hope they do , my nephew is just over a year and I have never met him...

come hell or high water , I plan on having a nice Christmas this year.. the last 2 or 3 have sucked...

I'm spending Christmas in Nova Scotia and my honey is coming up from Wisconsin so I pick him up at the airport in Halifax. We are planning a few days in the Annapolis Valley at my place, then a few days in New Brunswick and hopefully a trip to my hometown in Cape Breton. If the weather is agreeable!

My brothers and sister will be having Christmas at my parents' place in Sudbury. I will probably be here in NJ as I'm assuming I'll still be waiting on my AP. :(

We will do Christmas morning at my moms but go down to Toronto to have dinner at my uncles. The only thing I dislike about having family functions with my family is no one drinks so theres no wine with dinner. :(

My husbands family, they like the vino around the holidays! :P

As do I. :D

It's funny, because I haven't lived in Connecticut since I was 17 (and I turn 34 in less than a month), but I still consider it my home. That said, I will not be there this Xmas :( Hubby wants to spend Declan's first Xmas in our house in NH. Hubby rarely asks for anything so when he does, I absolutely want to make sure it happens. We usually visit his family for American Tgiving, but this year money is tight due to hubby's work situation, so we are just staying here. I'm envious of those who are heading to Vancouver Island. Hubby's family lives on one of the Gulf Islands, Denman Island, and I absolutely adore visiting.

We just received our Xmas gifts from them and already opened them. His mom quilted us an advent calendar and used Coffee Crisp as the chocolate. At least hubby has a bit of home for the holidays :)
