I-129F

Hi all,

I was typing up my wife's I-129F form and noticed that I could not fit her whole name in the name field provided. Also, the country field is quite small to fit "Philippines" in it.

I know we can fill the form out by writing in black ink. But I prefer to type the information since it will be easier for them to read. I know that if I write it out there maybe an issue of them not being able to correctly read the information.

I was wonder if you all knew whether it is ok to type all fields except the "Name" and "Country." I will handwrite those fields since it can't fit if it was typed in.

Thanks!

Alot of people had to do this, including myself. Those fields do not permit room for long names or addresses. I think its perfectly acceptable :)

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

I typed "supplemental sheets" for every blank that did not have room to fit the information. The sheets referenced Section # and line #. I stapled the sheet to the I129F form (and one for the G325A addresses, and the I130). It must have been OK we never had a problem with our case.

i don't get it.
