Good evening all.

Here is a update on my I-485 and I-765

I sent them both out on June 11th 2008.

RFE for a Affidavit of Support from the Sponsor.

Case sent back out with the RFE on August 12th 2008.

3 months of calling to check the case status, no update.

November 12th 2008 - I called to see what was going on with my case, they told me that they are now doing something to the case to see what is going on with it, and they gave me a key of letters and numbers to use to check on the status on it.

I am just wondering who I would call with this weird number/letter key to see what is going on with it.

(It can NOT be entered on the USCIS website)

And also, has anyone else had this problem?

2007/06/26 - I-129F Petition sent to Nebraska service center

2007/07/03 - NOA1 Hard Copy, and notification that it has been forwarded to the California Service center

2007/07/10 - Touch

2007/11/20 - Approved - NOA2

2007/12/13 - Petition received at the NVC

2007/12/22 - Hardcopy of notice that the petition has now been forwarded to the US Embassy in London.

2008/01/05 - Received Packet from US Embassy.

2008/01/11 - Medical examination

2008/01/16 - Received Police Clearance Record

2008/01/16 - Sent back out Packet to the US Embassy.

2008/02/26 - INTERVIEW APPROVED!!!!

2008/05/08 - Married!!!!

2008/06/05 - Package sent back due to wrong address

2008/06/06 - Sent package back out

2008/06/11 - Pending notices received

2008/06/17 - Appointment notice received

2008/06/26 - Biometrics appointment - Appointment successful

2008/??/?? - RFE - Sponsor did not fill out I-864

2008/08/12 - RFE sent back out

2008/11/12 - Service request in effect.

2008/12/03 - No news on if they received my case back (RFE), no news on my EAD or AOS. Starting to get severely annoyed.

As I said, they gave me a different kind of number. It isn't 13digits and it doesn't start with letters, it starts with numbers. It can't be used on that website :S

That sounds like a service request. When I did one, I got a string of numbers that started with TIB or T1B, then several chunks of numbers, and then the letters MSC.

You might get a letter in a week or so with an update (or non-update). That's what happened to me and another VJer who put in a service request IIRC.

K-1, AOS, ROC
2007, 2009, 2011

Naturalization

2016-05-17 - N-400 package sent

2016-05-21 - NOA1 (IOE receipt number)

2016-06-15 - Biometrics

2016-11-08 - Citizenship interview in Detroit: approved

Not that it's a huge help, but have you registered on the USCIS web site to keep track your AOS (and/or EAD, or AP)?

I am just wondering who I would call with this weird number/letter key to see what is going on with it.The same number you originally called.
