Could someone tell me how they notify you of the NOA? Is it by letter, Email, or a text message or something?

NOA's come by regular snail mail and depending on where you live can take a good few days to arrive.

Well my wife recieved a text message and she wasn't sure what it was but it said package recieved. Could that be the NOA? Also they still haven't cashed our check yet and it has been 2 weeks. We are starting to get a little worried.

NOAs can take up to a month, in my case up to 3 months to be delivered. But they usually cash all checks within a month. If they still haven't received anything in a couple of weeks, you should definitely give them a call.

As long as you were married witihn 90 days the I-94 is still valid.

Correction, it should read you are out of status but still legal in the US.
