Guys,

I have read on the forum that it takes around 10 days for NVC to complete the case after they receive all documents. We have sent all documents to the NVC.

We got a following reply on our email inquiry from the NVC

Documentation for this case was received on May __, 2006. The processing time for the submitted documentation to be reviewed is 6 to 8 weeks. If any additional information is required, NVC will request the information after this review is completed.

Regards,

National Visa Center

Does anyone know whether 6-8 weeks is a correct timeframe for reviewing documentation? What do they really review?

:(

Standard response just as happens with the service centers. Most seem to be complete in the 1-2 week timeframe. All the best

Aussiewench is correct. I got the same message and it took 13 days for it to be completed; but I've heard of other people taking much less than that-so don't worry. It's almost over.
