hi vj's family just wanna ask about this sample itenerary i had here, esp at SFO TO BOI

since we only have 2hrs and 17 mins before our connecting flight will due, u think that 2hrs and 17 mins is enough for me and for my 2 yrs old son to be done with everything inside the SFO airport, like the immigration and costoms then again check in. i was at LAX before and it kind busy airport, what good thing about it i dont have connecting flight. now i am worried if that 2hrs and 17 mins will be enough for me and for my son to catch on our connectiing flight. please do advice, thanks alot.

Picking SFO over LAX was a good choice.

I have vowed to never step foot into LAX again, Been there one time and it a over crowded, dirty airport.

SFO is very clean and a relaxed airport.

I tend to be in agreement with the tall #######! SFO is a much better choice, LAX can be a pain in the #######!!! We recently came through LAX and after you get into the immigration area they are so disorganized and without a clue its not even funny!! On top of that the immigration officers there (while I dont want to lump everyone into one group) are rude, thoughtless and not very helpful. I as a US citizen confronted one fat old Immigration officer that was being rude to first time immigrants because they were lined up vertically instead of horizontally. The signage they had up was sooooo ambigious and he had no right to talk to the folks the way he did, after all he is a public servant!!! He was such an ### and I told him as much. Made me feel good that for once my being a US citizen seemed to empower me!!!! Anyways best of luck on your connection im sure you will be fine coming in at SFO I used to live in San Jose and I must admit I enjoyed flying in and out of SFO on all my international flights throughout the years. as for my wife and I we live in LA now so no choice for us a few weeks ago!!!

YOU WILL BE OK AT SFO, I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM THERE. HOWEVER, WHEN RETURNING THROUGH LAX WITH MY PHILIPINO RELATIVES WE HAD A LARGE PROBLEM. NO, NOT WITH THE RELATIVES, WITH ME, A LIFE LONG USC. THEY WANTED TO PLAY A HUNDRED QUESTIONS. I WAS UNABLE TO TRANSFER MY BAGS BECAUSE THEY DELAYED ME SO LONG. NEVER MIND THAT MY MOTHER IN LAW SPEAKS LITTLE ENGLISH. I AM GLAD THAT THEY FOCUSED ON ME THOUGH....

My POE was San Francisco and I was done in the Immigration in less than 5 minutes. My experience was a bit different though because the nice lady officer asked for my x-ray film ( she didnt look inside but just checked if I hand carried it ) while most of the ladies here who have gone thru the same process were not asked for their xray-film.

I was not asked to open my luggages in the custom area. They have an xray machine but you will have to put your luggages inside by yourself. You will be asked if you are bringing food.

Weigh your luggages and dont go beyond the limit. Prioritize what you NEED to bring here and leave the not so important things back. They have everything you need here.

Goodluck and have a safe journey.
