I wonder if Onekea is done and her husband are done. I am dying to hear what happened. I am hoping for one more victory for us this week. We deserve it. I hope God walks with them. I hope they are blessed with an approval. Wouldn't it be so nice if one of us gets through without any added trouble? Oh boy. I am so excited waiting. Geeze. Wohoo. :star:

anybody hear from onekea? another friend of mine - not on vj - got her approval from vsc today - 7 months! shouldn't be long now for me. but i en gettin my hopes up.

Starting over -

I-130

01-08-09 - Mailed I-130

01-09-09 - VSC received I-130 application

01-14-09 - Date of NOA1

01-20-09 - Received NOA1 for I-130

06-17-09 - I-130 Approval

06-22-09 - Received NOA2 for I-130

NVC

07-11-09 - Emailed DS-3032

07-11-09 - Paid AOS Fee $70.00

07-23-09 - DS-3032 Accepted via. Email

08-15-09 - Paid IV Fee $400.00

09-14-09 - Mailed I-864 Package

09-14-09 - Mailed IV DS-230 Package

09-28-09 - Email FROM NVC stating that both forms were incomplete

10-09-09 - NVC Received both forms corrected

10-20-09 - Case Complete at NVC

10-29-09 - CR-1 Interview Date scheduled for 12-23-09

12-23-09 - Placed under Admin Review for six weeks - 2-3-10

01-14-10 - Visa Refused

06-02-10 - USCIS Received the package back from the Embassy

09-18-10 - Hindi Wedding Ceremony

09-28-10 - Recieved Letter from USCIS Stating reasons for revocation

10-01-10 - Returned Package to USCIS will further evidence disputing the reasons the Embassy gave for revocation

11-17-10 - DS 230 and Immigrant Information Sheet returned to the Embassy

12-15-10 - Appointment Letter mailed out setting the interview Date for Feb 7th 2011

02-07-11 - 3rd Interview with the Embassy after USCIS reaffirmed the case

02-09-11 - Visa issued

02-11-11 - Traveled back to the USA - and our journey is finally over! A total of 3.5 years!

I haven't heard anything. i don't think she is going to post until she comes back to the states. It won't be too long. Hang in there. It is going to be faster than you think.

WE MADE IT!!!!

..and we have the visa already.

We're coming home on Tuesday March 10, God-willing....

Hi ladies...trust everyone had a wonderful weekend. Last week ended wonderfully with Oneka's approval. One more week to go before Mrs. Rowe husband pick-up his visa. Suz...hoping and praying that you get your approval soon.

Was it you guys talkin about the quota of visas the embassy has to give out? What if they give them all out and by time me and nikki reach the embassy for our interview they run out? Then what? I know I'm thinking too much.

Thanks for the well wishes Nikki but we have long to wait yet! hehehe If you need help with your paper work I will be more than happy to send you anything I have - just let me know. It's better to email me either through visa journey or to my yahoo email. I don't really sign on yahoo messenger - I guess I outgrow it - LOL!

This process would make anyone over think things but I refuse to let it, I will keep on being optimistic and hopeful...I think that we have both shown alot of strength this far by pick ourselves up and trying again believing that the love we share with our spouses will see us thru this.

I dont' think they are going to "run out". I think the quota is monthly not yearly. You guys are going to be just fine. We are all going to get through this process. Don't let them scare you. It's going to be okay. We will all see victory through that embassy. Maybe after we are all done, we should all go to Guyana and stand in front of the embassy with signs that say, "KISS OUR YOU KNOW WHAT'S". :rofl:

They are not going to win. Not with their rediculous questions nor their shut up and wait tactics and not with their bullying. God is on our side and we are all going to make it.

Glad to see you are on the move and your wait should not be too long plus after two years, he is going to get the 10 year green card. That will save you from having to do the whole removal of conditions thing. I am hoping that with us because we have a child together and we are so close to our second year anniversary that they will just grant us the 10 year green card but I doubt it. Oh well. I am actually not excited anymore, just a little frustrated because he won't set a date for his daparture until Wednesday. It's frustrating cause i want to start making some plans but cannot. Not really. Men. Grr. Oh well.
