How could this affect our K1 process??

Hello VJ,

Here's the situation: In 1993, my guy (US citizen) filed for his ex-wife (divorce final in 2007, had been seperated since 2000). I was wondering how and if this could affect our K1 application? Could USCIS think that he's just making people come to the US? What should we get ready for?

Anyone in this situation? Did it get complicated? I would love to ear from you!

17 Mar 2009 ---- NOA2 151days (rec'd Mar.21st)

15 Jan 2010 --- AOS transfered to CSC!!

19 Jan 2010 --- AOS touched

22 Jan 2010 --- AOS touched

25 Jan 2010 --- AOS touched

17 June 2010 ---AOS touched

18 June 2010 ---AOS touched

10 July 2010 --- AOS touched

12 July 2010 --- Letter to welcome new permanent resident and card ordered

Nope, not a problem.

The I-129F has a multiple filing restriction, but you dont fall into that restriction because the resturction has to do with 10 years 1993 is well outside the restriction.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
