Yes, you are OK

Is your greencard and passport in the same name?

No it's different, Is that a problem I wonder?

just carry your document that makes the name change legal.. ( ie.. marriage certificate?) because they will want to connect your permission to travel/enter the USA (greencard) with your passport since you no longer have a valid visa in your passport name.

Thanks, very helpful, I'll do just that.

Any one know if I can stay longer that 3 months?

Any stay of any length of time can be an issue, however, problems can begin as early as 6 months, but are more likely to begin the closer you get to 12 months

YMMV
