Hello Everyone :)

My fiance filed for K-1 visa and gotten NOA1 on 24th June 08. I was looking at the visa timeline and saw that they're processing June 24th NOA1 recipients today! So I was just wondering if ours would be processed?? Also... another thing is that I got to know from my fiance, they still haven't cashed the cheque yet coz he said the money's still in his bank account. Well, we have gotten the NOA1 with the EAC receipt number and all that but they still haven't cashed the cheque? Is there any problems there? Anyone has any idea? When would they normally cash the cheque? Also, I checked the status of our case today and it's still written there: Case received and pending.

Waiting is such an agony!!!!

Thank you :)

I would be less worried about the cheque, because the paper shows you that you are logged into the system.

YMMV

in our case, our check already got cashed in but no sign of NOA1 yet. i did learn through some posts here in VJ to look for the case number at the back of the check and voila... there it was! i wonder though, since we hired a lawyer (of course, now I know we never should have) whether our NOA1 will be mailed to our lawyer or to us.. hmmm..

maybe u did get lucky and they didnt let u pay

Thank you for replying my questions! :)

Well now, I saw the VJ Timeline that they're working on petitions with NOA1 on 24th June, I checked the case status on USCIS and they still haven't touched ours yet. I'm getting really nervous!! All they write there is "CASE RECEIVED AND PENDING". There's no news!!! Arghhh!!! What does yours write??

Cheers :)
