Can I call USCIS?

Hello guys! We are waiting for NOA1 ...well, the fact is that he is deployed in Iraq, we used money order and the hard copy should get at his sister house...well I don't get to talk to her very often and my fiance is the one that usually keeps in touch with her but during these last two weeks he's been working like 16 hours a day and he hardly has the time to log on messenger to tell me goodnight and that he's ok. He's been asking me to try to call USCIS and ask if at least they cashed the money order and everything was ok and eventualy ask for the case number so he can start to prepare the document and maybe try to get expedite...Do you think I can call about that even if I'm the beneficiary? Anybody else tryed this before? Thak you again for your help!!

wow,you just filed.give it time and get ahold of his sister.you got another 4-6 month wait ahead of you but if hes active military then it can be expedited
