I don't think I've ever seen beef bacon in our stores. Only turkey. I'll have to keep an eye out!

Beef bacon? this gem exists?!?! oh my! You know I tried the turkey smoked sausage last week for the first time and YUMMO!

Good luck in your search for places close to you..

Turkey bacon is a reasonable facsimile. Also turkey sausage, that's good for pasta & spaghetti.

In Morocco for the first time we went to Pizza Hut and I was very disappointed in the beef -based pepperoni. We need a fatwa to free the pork, just like the Jews did. ;)

we shop here in beaverton, and here in tigard. one of the men who works at the place in tigard is from the same city as my husband, and he always cuts everything just the way we want it, etc. it's a very nice little shop. sometimes we go to 2 different east african stores on glisan, in portland, too. there's one on 78th, and one on 71st. they don't have nearly the same selection as beaverton and tigard though. i could ask around for someplace in vancouver, if you'd like. that's probably closer to you if yr in longview. i don't go to the 'couv very often, so i don't know right off hand. i'm sure there must be some places though, and there's a brand new masjid in vancouver too.

I would like to thank everyone for their responses. Im willing to travel to portland to get him meat as often as i can afford the gas but if anyone could find one a little closer i would really appreciate it, ive tried and havent had any luck finding anything in vancouver, just portland or north in olympia and seattle. i guess that what i get for living in hickville lol.

i asked a few more people and none of them knew of any place in vancouver, sorry. the stores i mentioned above both have restaurants attached to them where the meat is zabiha. so if you have to make the long drive out there, at least you can have some lunch before the long drive back home. that's what we do anyways :)
