Hi everyone,

I am just starting the whole ordeal, and I have a question about the passport-style pictures needed for the I-129F. I want to start immediately with filing, but I am wondering how best to get my fiancee's picture here quickly. If she sends it to me by regular mail from Moscow, it will take at least 3 weeks to a month, if it comes at all. On the other hand, express mail will be quite expensive. We are actually going on vacation together in late June, so she could give it to me there, but I would rather get the paperwork moving before July. Is there any way that she can send me a digital photo that I can print out, or has anyone else found a way around this problem? Thank you all so much for your advice! I just found VJ last night, and have been devouring the info here.

You are on the right track. get her to send in a digital copy and then either you can print it on your own pc (I suggest using photo paper) or have the local walmart or walgreens do it for you. Good Luck

I believe they don´t accept prints (from personal computer unless it´s in photo paper and same quality as from a photo place), so I´d say have her take a good digital passport picture, send it to you, and you take to your local store to develop.

Oh, I just realized that I will need to have her sign her letter of intent and G-325a anyway, so I guess it won't particularly help me to get the photo earlier... I am assuming they require that the documents be originals with a real signature? Speaking of the signature, should my fiancee sign with latin letters (she can write in English but doesn't ever use cursive), or should she use her real signature, which is with Cyrillic characters?
