I was looking at the approval for the K-1 visa for Perú and I noticed it was pretty much 100%, seeing that gave me lots of hope. I was wondering though, will someone sponsering her for me effect the visa approval at all? What papers should I take with me when I go visit her so that she can sign and I don't need to mail. What things effect the chances of approval? Does age? I am 18 and she is 22, but I will be 19 by the time I visit her. Thanks for all those who answer.

No one is going to be sponsoring her for you, as YOU are the primary sponsor. Someone will be CO-sponsoring for you though, assuming that's what you meant (that you are getting a co-sponsor).

If so, you need to make sure the US embassy in Peru allows co-sponsors. If they allow co-sponsors, and your co-sponsor meets the financial requirements then you will be fine.

In order for us to answer your questions about what papers you need to take with you when you go visit her, you need to fill in your timeline so we know where you are in the process.

No, you have no problems whatsoever with you being 19 and your fiance being 22. If you were 19 and your fiance was like 65 then obviously that would raise some red flags.

Yeah, I meant co-sponsor. I haven't actually started the timeline yet, but someone told me there is a paper I should take with me and have her sign so it helps the process.

Yes, the Lima, Peru consulate accepts co-sponsors.

Have her fill out and sign all four pages of the G325a. You can us the form online and it will autofil the other three pages. Make sure you get all the information for her side of the I-129F and a passport photo.
