I got my visa last Sept.03, 2008 with an expiration date on Feb.20, 2009 then I arrived here in US Sept. 06, then I got a stamped from the Immigration in LA that dated Dec. 05,2008, as I have understood, that we shopuld get marry before this date will expire. We were planning for a church wedding this coming month of October '08 but can we apply for AOS after Dec. 05, 2008, my visa will actually expire on Feb. 20, 2009. Please help.... :help:

Another thing, regarding G325a, my fiance (USC) will have to fill it up too or me only as the alien, can I use my married name by that time? How about the A number on the left side what does it mean? is that my SSN? :help::help: Once again thank you guys for yaking time to read my post here, hope to get an answer from you. God Bless.

Hello marjo..

You will base your 90 days in your I-94 which is Dec 5 and your wedding as well I don't know it just seem too risky for me if it is my case just my thought .

About AOS you will only fill in the G325A do not include ur hubby and you can use your hubby's family name if you like just write your maiden name in the other name use as well. A number is the number in your NOA2 or the number in your passport that starts with A.

God bless and enjoy life here in USA with your honey ...

Your visa expiration is meaningless now that you have entered the USA... ignore that...

The I-94 is the critical documents and abide by that date for your marriage

You should apply for AOS as soon as you can but you are not mandated to do it by the date on the I-94

For the I-485 it is the alien's application and only the alien prepares a g-325. For the alien, when preparing the g-325a & application... use the name you want on your greencard. "A" number is on the NOA2 for the K-1. It is NOT the same as SSN

YMMV
