I'm starting to get agravated here.

We sent 2 weeks ago the documents for EAD and AOS.

On those forms i wrote my maiden name as my middle name and my husbands last name as my last name

Well, i went to the SSA to get a replacement for my social security card, and the officer there told me that he can put my name exactly the way i wrote it, but when i'm going to get my driver's licence they won't do that  (dunno y), so i decided to drop my middle/maiden name and to only leave my husbands last name.

Today i called USCIS to ask them to make this correction too, and what they said is that they cannot change what i put in my application, changes are only made when you submit it right, but the information on the receipt is wrong.

Now, i'm going to have the EAD and GC on one name and my driver's licence and my SSN on another name.

Which one is the easiest to change?

I would bet that the gc card and the EAD card would take forever!

ANY IDEAS, PLEASE!?

my wife did exactly as you did. the difference is she waited until GC in hand before going to the SSA and then to the DMV to make the changes.

So she kept her maiden name as middle name and it's ok now?

Adopted her maiden as her middle (no middle name prior)

Changed her last name to mine

She even changed the spelling of her first name

All is good. All documents are the same.

MN allows all these changes to occur on the marriage license... not all states are the same.
