expiration of forms

i m filing 485 form , i just noticed that on the top of the page , it says Expires 09/30/08 !!! would that mean i have to wait until past that date to get a new form ? or the form has just to be signed before that date , what if it gets maled after that date , plz explain , thkx a million ...

If you mail the form after the expiration date you will need to get the new form. They ussually realease the new form, a few weeks before the old one is to expire.

HOw come I-485 form was still expired..and don't get replaced or renewed...what will happen? Do we need to wait the new form or revision tol be changed before sending all of our pappers? It's been 2 months now but they did not change the date of the form....if we file our applicatio this month or next month ..probably they will be rejected due to outdated form..I thought they're only concerned about the revision date on the bottom of the form...when I looked up the USCIS website for I-485 form...it stated the same revision but no expiration...( u can see this before opening the pdf of this form....see instructions..) I'm confused....

i had the same question before. anyway, i just used the forms in the uscis website. i think the aos and ead forms are expired. but there are no new forms so it leaves us no choice but to use the current ones. i mailed my application today, hopefully all forms would be accepted.
