Could anyone tell me if I need to obtain a marriag licence here in Canada before I move to US, or do I get it in California?

There are so many things to think about before moving, I am just thinking that I will miss something.

I am pretty sure you need to buy a license where you intend to marry. It was even county specific here in Ohio. Check with the county clerks office...

Thanks, at least one thing less to worry in Canada. I wonder if it's just me, but I am really having tough time getting organized evrything before I move.

You will get your marriage licence in the city where you will be married, not in Canada.

We were all a bundle of nerves when planning our moves to the U.S., so you are not alone. Just take one day at a time, and you'll be just fine.
