Luis went for his medical & they gave him a sealed envelope and so he can't see the results. Is this the norm?

He saw Dr. Nora Lari - thought she was really nice, everything went well.

He's kind of curious to make sure everything was OK and that he is healthy etc etc. Would they tell him if he wasn't?

Just a concern it's kind of silly they make you go for testing and exams and then don't tell you your results.

I understand the sealed envelope thing - to not tamper with results - but you think they'd tell ya?

yes, the medical report is sealed and not to be tampered with before the interview

this is a very limited medical and other than a few communicable diseases (which your SO should know if he has exposed himself too) or some previous high risk behavior, there is very little than will cause visa refusal.

My husband is not from LIma, so when we made the appointment for the medical, we asked how long to receive the results. The secretary said two days if everything is okay. If not, it can be a lot longer. Since you received your results quickly, then everything is okay. Make sure you have a copy of his vaccination record and shots given in case they did not give them to you separate from the sealed envelop.
