Going to school while AOS processes

Hello!

My husband has applied for his adjustment of status. He has received work authorization and travel authorization. We are now waiting for the next steps in the process.

He is looking into going back to school to get his Masters Degree. I was wondering, is this okay while the AOS is still processing? For example, would he need to get a student visa, or could he just enroll in programs?

Just wondering if someone had experience with a similar situation, or if you knew what the requirements were.

Enrollment will depend on the institution he wants to attend (some have residency requirements while others still may charge higher tuition for non-residents).

It depends on the school really. I still maintain my F1 for their purposes even though it's technically voided once you enter AOS.
