hello again,

yup yuup they are busy busy busy, nvc got our approved stuff this week sent it on the friday, eg 12th september so its moving faaaaaaast. now my question is about the police certificate:what exactly is on it? ???? :hehe:

obviously i know criminal records etc, but would it include cautions that were given way back in 1998/1999????? :help:

i had one. the last time i had a crb enhanced disclosure it didnt come up, and i remember that the police said after five years it would be taken off. I also know that they say in the UK that this stuff never comes off your record, because it s a caution it cant be spent, therefore not removed, and also that police records are different from the ones police get here.

:bonk: :bonk:

whats the 999? 411? someone help a sister out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks

WELL it seems no one has the answer for this, but thanks to my Sherlockian tenacity i have unearthed the mystery of exactly what is on the uk police certificate. if you have a category c caution, that did not result in a conviction and have a clear record the record is stepped down from your record after 5 years and is only available for the police to view.

if you have a category b or a, the time it takes to step down is dependent on the severity of the crime, and the time starts at 10 years to 30 years, or never. to get a more comprehensive list of the rules of whats on a police certificate please look here, its comprehensive and will put your mind at rest if like me you had a little blip many a eon ago.

copy and paste this link into your browser.
