Hi everyone,

I have a K3 visa.

I filed for AOS in march,

Received an RFE in april,

I responded in the end of Jun,and.....

Yesterday I got an email from CRIS,that they transferred my I-485 application to CALIFORNIA,from the NBC.

I am just wondering, what could that mean?

this is the average process?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

it is becoming more and more normal each day.... the transfer to CSC is typically an attempt to approve the I-485 without interview... in many instances this happens... occasionally a case file is sent back for an interview....

YMMV

Thank you for you quick response!

I heard that they usually approve the K1s without Interview though.

Anyway,I am happy that it was a normal step,so I have nothing to worry about.

Thanks again and have a nice day.

They so this with any K-Visa, either K-1 or K-3.

All right,thanks a lot. :)

I just thought that the transfer will slow down my case or something.

have a nice day!

Actually it is the USCIS's attempt to do the opposite... it is an attempt to try to get it approved faster....

YMMV
