I'd like to know about this as well, my fiance is 24 (as of 3 days ago), and we did get her parents permission already, but now I'm wondering if she needs some kind of signed letter from her parents stating it's OK presumably at the interview. I'm hoping someone will know the answer definitively and post it here.

My Filipina fiance is 22 and I'm 29. I plan on sending out my K1 packet this weekend. Does she need to send me something with parent's consent? The closest thing I have to that is her letter of intent. I'm really confused now. Please help!

You definitely don't need anything special for the petition filing but it sounds like she may need some documentation in the PI later. Ask about this in the appropriate regional forum.

no, does not need to be sent with the 129f petition. it's a requirment of the Philippine Govt. she'll need to attend a CFO Seminar and get a stamp in her passport in order to leave the country with a K-1 Visa. parental consent is not needed ages 21 to 25. just a written statement that the parents are aware of the couple's intent to get married.

It has nothing to do with the interview at the US Embassy, it's for CFO, a Philippine Govt agency. She'll need to attend a seminar and get a stamp in her passport. written consent is not needed ages 21 to 25, just a written statement that the parents are aware of the couples intent to get married.
