I got my 2 year conditional Green card - dont have to think about immigration stuff for another 1 year and 9 months. What a relief!!!

Now I'm planning to go to SSN office to get the unrestricted card. What all documents do I need to take? In some threads I saw I shoud take my Passport with I 551 stamp on it. I came here on K1 visa and I did not do anything with it to change the visa status. Should I get I 551 stamp on it? If so what is the procedure? Pls help

Just take your green card, that's all i needed. Your green card serves as ID, passport etc since it's a federal issued card.

A green card does not serve as a passport but it negates the need for an I-551 stamp.
