Hi all,

I'm a U.S. citizen and I sent a I-129F form to apply for my fiance's K1 visa in May. I still havent heard anything yet and have yet to receive a confirmation number. I am particularly worried as I sent the application fee of $455 and havent heard anything. Does anyone have any advice as to what I should do next?

see if your check was cashed or call uscis and ask if you are in the system ....tell them when you sent in your I-129F...they will answer your

questions and if it is there they will give you your number and current status.....you should have heard something by now....don't be

afraid to call and ask.....

The confirmation number is the NOA1 which you havent received! Try again and tell them you filed back in May and you want to know if they ever received/lost the application. If they say they have no records of it, I suggest that you refile..... I know it sucks!!

Did you mail the package with delivery confirmation?

You'll only have a confirmation number if you've received a NOA1 which it seems like you've not gotten yet. Have the cashed your cheque? If they havedn't, and you sent the package in May, I would assume the package is missing now, and I'd be cancelling the cheque and sending out another package and cheque if I was you. It does not normally take 3 months to get a NOA1. If they have cashed your cheque, look on the back of it, for a receipt number. With that number, you can track your case at the USCIS website, after signing up for email notification.

I hate to add fuel to this fire, but I originally sent my 1st I-129f in July '07, apparently at the height of the rush last year due to the hike in fees. I waited 8 months, and never received confirmation. And no, my check was not cashed...

I finally resent my I-129f in April 08, and received my NOA1 in early June.

I'd like nothing more than to exact my revenge on these idiots (of course, only after my NOA2 approval).
