I have been sponsored by my wife. But now she is not working but i am working. When we applied for GC abt 3 years back,we both were working. We already did submit the I-864 but we prepared one again fo our next week's interview. Will my wife's unemployment cause any problem ?

Thanks,

hipop

Should not, USCIS considers the I-864 to be valid at the time they accepted it, and it does not expire.

What you can do is have wife prepare a new one and you can prepare an I-864A as a member of her household, and that way you can add your income. If your income exceeds 125% povertyline, then you should be fine.

Only bring out the I-864 and I-864A if the interviewing officer asks for it.

We have prepared the I-864 asmentioned in the interview letter. It had an option to include my income as a member of household/sponsored immigrant. It does not say anything about the I864A though. So hoping that we should be good.

The I-864A is required from the household member in order to include their income.
