No number on Check

Hi all

We sended our K-1 application to VSC 31th July, and our check got cashed 20th August.

My fiance went to the bank but the bank says that there is no number or anything behind or on the check?

They called the USCIS to be sure that THEY cashed it and not someone else, and they did.

But i'm just wondering how come there is no case number?

We haven't got our NOA1 either.

Anyone know anything or did it happend before?

7/31/2008 - Sended I-129F to VSC (lost in mail).

9/24/2008 - Resended I-129F to VSC (*sigh* lost again).

10/30/2008 - Resended again I-129F to VSC.

11/11/2008 - NOA1

03/09/2009 - RFE received

03/11/2009 - Returned RFE

05/23/2009 - Recieved 2nd RFE

08/05/2009 - Denied. Besides that he turns out to be a total jerk. Case ended.

I'm not sure.

My fiance said that the bank called the USCIS to confirm that THEY cashed it and it was not fraud and according to the bank the USCIS confirmed that they were the one who cashed it.

But the bank tells my fiance that there is no case number on it...

I know it seems very strange that's why i'm asking :(

10/30/2008 - Resended again I-129F to VSC.

11/11/2008 - NOA1

03/09/2009 - RFE received

nope, sorry. I don't think your bank has a clue. :)

If/when you get a copy of the check there are loads of numbers on the back. The EAC is the one you are looking for.

If you dont get to see it you just need to wait for your hardcopy NOA1 (I797)
