Just Got Back from Two Weeks in Japan, Jetlagged

Greetings everybody. I just got home a couple of hours ago from Japan and had my NOA2 in the mail which was so exciting! Now I am seeing messages on this forum about IMBRA. I am too jet-lagged to search through the forum to see what is up with this so can somebody please tell me if we will be affected by IMBRA.

Our NOA1 Received Date at CSC is February 28, 2006 and our Notice Date is March 6th. This is the first time I have ever sent in an application for any type of Visa.

Will I have to go through the Criminal Background Check? If so, how do I get that process started.
