Hello,

My wife filed her EAD, AOS, and AP applications at the same time, in the same envelope, with the check for $1010. That was in June. Today we received an RFE for the EAD and AP applications stating that we must submit evidence that we have a pending Form I-485. I have the NOA1 from the I-485, in fact, all three notices came the same day in separate envelopes. So, I'll send that in right away, but.........why on earth did we receive an RFE of this type if the applications were sent to the same place at the same time in the same envelope???? Has anyone else experienced this? Can't they just type her case number into the computer and see that she has a pending application? I mean, they could log in to their website like we do and see that it's there! Does anyone know how much this is going to slow down the EAD process? Her future employer is waiting patiently for the EAD to come through.

Someone in Chicago failed to note this on the I-765 and I-131 before sending it on to NBC.

Yes, just send in a copy of I-485 NOA1 with the RFE.
