Hi,I have a problem.

My child came with me in july of this year.We are k1,k2 case.

Now we want to apply for our Green cards.

I just want to ask if we don't receive my child's Green card before she is 21 years old. What will be happened?

She will be asked to leave America?

Or we just need to send the form to begin apply before she is 21 and then we just wait no matter the case will

take morn than one year?

She is 20 now and she will be 21 in Aug 2009.

Thank you so much!!

USCIS service centers and district offices generally will expedite an adjustment application involving a child who is aging out. if the problem is clearly identified and brought to their attention

Main thing is to get your and her applications in right away with "all ducks in a row" so you won't get RFE. Be sure the I-693 for BOTH is done correctly and submitted with the AOS application.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

If your child won't get an interview before reaching 21, there is a possibility that he/she'd be ask to leave the USA, YOU SHOULD ACT NOW BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE.....just my thought :star: Goodluck and God bless....

If you have not filed yet be sure to write on top of first page of application "Possible Age-Out/Please Expedite", also I would include this in my cover letter...

Out son was 20 when we filed and we completed the process before he reached 21..

Good luck
