hi, I wanted to ask a question on behalf of someone that if someone has recently been granted a CR1 VISA and her Mailing Address has been changed at USA. Is it possible that at POE she can get her Mailing address changed so that her GreenCard is delivered to the new mailing address?.

Thanks.

hi, my husband entered the USA on a CR1 visa and we were moving that same week, so at POE (Houston) when "they" were opening the envelope and doing biometrics, he provided the new mailing address for them to send the card to. He entered on 21 July 08, and received the "Residence card" in the mail at the new house on 12 August/08 !

Just don't forget to provide the new address at POE.

I am in a similar situation.. I have prepared the I-865 Sponsor's Notice of Change of Address for my husband (USC sponsor). Do you think I can hand it to them at POE or will I have to mail it?

Also, do I need to provide a AR-11 Change of Address form? Or can I just do it verbally?

thanks

Just updating my post above

I didn't bother with the I-865 form, figured it would be easier for me to just mail it in.

Change of my address was done verbally, no forms required.

Hope this helps!
