Biometrics is the easiest part of this process. They just take your prints and picture and that is all.

When I went for mine I was home within a half hour (I do live quite close to my local office)

I DID MINE LAST JULY, I BROUGHT ALL THE RECEIPT NOTICES THAT I RECEIVED FROM USCIS INCLUDING THE APPOINTMENT LETTER, MY PASSPORT (i do not have a state id yet) and my marriage certificate (only because i havent gotten a new passport with the new married name YET)

don't worry, when you get there today, prepare to show your biometrics appointment letter and a form of i.d. and then they will give you a form to fill out. then wait to be called and that's it!! GOODLUCK!

Bring your SSN if you have one. Also note that cell phones and cameras aren't allowed in the facilities, at least they weren't when I went.

As the others said, it's easy. No interview. :)

Ok guys Thank you all so so much aheheheh.I just got home from West Sacramento. The traffic was bad but we made it to the biometrics appointment for almost an hour travel. It was fast and easy, they just ask for my passport and the appointment letter then fill up a paper and then wait for someone 2 call ur number. After calling ur number u just have to go to the person and she/he will take ur fingerprint and picture and that's it ur done. I'm so glad it's done now, it's a one step closer to the work permit and green card.Ok dokie i gotta go rest now and Good luck to all of us!

Take care everyone and God bless us always!
