I-751 my case has been touched but "case description" remain the same

Hello Filers,

today my case has been touched but below under

"form title" the description

remain the same as PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED

can you help me to understand what that means?

will they update it today/tomorrow?

That's why its called a "touch". The date changed, but the description didn't. It means someone did something with your case, like move it from one pile on one desk, to an even bigger pile on another desk! However, nothing significant, so as to change the description.

That's why it is called 'touched', you case status doesn't necessarily changes. And official explanation from USCIS: "Your case may have a new "Last Updated" date and you may receive an Email Notification of your case being updated, without the status of the case changing. This is due to internal USCIS processing being performed on your Case. This will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date, but may not result in a different status message."

ditto, unfortunatley a change in date doesn't mean anything at all. Some people never get touched, some get touched 100 times but the outcome is the same...
